Director of Account Management

Cohley is looking for a passionate leader that has led Account Management organizations at fast growing companies and someone who knows and appreciates how an Account Management organization is motivated and challenged. 

About the Role: 

You will be heading up the Account Management team reporting directly to the Founder. Through your direct reports (Account Managers), you'll be responsible for team performance, processes and outcomes. You will be an important partner to sales leadership both to ensure the success of current customers and as a thought leader assisting in bringing in strategic new logos. 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Account Managers and be accountable for key retention benchmarks. 

  • Expand Account Management methods with the following goals; 

    • Increased upselling of new products and larger contract values to current clients

    • Increased average renewal rates across all client verticals

  • Engage with critical accounts and prospects to develop direct relationships with high profile customers.

  • Own your team’s quota goals, health score analysis and renewal forecast for your portfolio and the team

  • Work closely with sales and marketing to optimize how we communicate and execute on our post-sales experience

  • Own customer escalations within your portfolio

  • Work directly with Head of Recruitment to hire for the team, as needed

Recommended Experience & Skills

  • 8+ years of Account Management experience, meeting or exceeding targets both individually and in a leadership capacity

  • Track record of driving renewals by engaging directly with customers

  • Experience hiring, training, managing and ramping an Account Management team.

  • Analytical approach to prioritizing your and your team's efforts

  • Experience within a SaaS platform, ideally working with marketing departments of brands at similar price points

Other Requirements

  • Proven ability to upsell new products and increase renewal contract prices

  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services

  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills BA/BS degree or equivalent


Digital & Demand Generation Manager

The Digital & Demand Generation Manager will play a key role in our Growth Marketing and be responsible for owning Cohley’s digital marketing programs to drive opportunity creation and pipeline acceleration. In this role you will develop and implement our digital marketing strategies to align with our company vision of changing the way brands generate content to help them grow their businesses. You will work strategically with Sales Leadership, Brand Strategy and Customer Success to deliver these visual experiences to prospects, partners, and clients.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead digital marketing strategy focused on net new customers

  • Create and execute digital advertising campaigns across LinkedIn, Facebook & Instagram, online publications and other digital channels

  • Work with Sales and Digital Strategy teams to grow marketing database, maintain data cleanliness, and develop our segmentation strategy

  • Create campaign landing pages and optimize our web presence

  • Partner with design, marketing, and sales operations teams on campaign management

  • Leverage analytics to measure and optimize programs

Recommended Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in email marketing, demand generation marketing, digital marketing

  • Experience with marketing automation, email best practices, CRM, and webinar platforms

  • Quantitative and metrics-driven thinking and approach to marketing planning and execution

  • BA degree or equivalent experience

Account Manager

Cohley is looking for Account Managers to proactively support our clients. We've been growing like crazy, and we're looking for someone who’s hardworking, passionate, personable and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll also closely with the product team, the partnerships team and the marketing team to ensure top-down alignment with the ultimate goal of providing clients with the best experience possible.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined number of customer relationships

  • Advise on best practices with customers, proactively suggest campaign concepts

  • Gather valuable product feedback and work closely with the Product team

  • Drive new product adoption, manage both 1:1 and customer-wide continued education and training

Recommended Experience

  • 2+ years of relevant experience as an Account Manager or Customer Success Manager

  • Experience working at a tech startup, ideally at a SaaS company

Minimum Education Level

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four year accredited university


Account Executive

Cohley is looking for Account Executives to help us take the company to the next level. You’ll be directly responsible for your own book of business and will manage both inbound and outbound leads from first contact through close. You'll work closely with our strategy team during both the sales process and in the post sales process to ensure that clients are set up for overwhelming success.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage both inbound and outbound leads

  • Source new business opportunities

  • Manage strategic relationships

  • Work hand-in-hand with the Customer Success team to ensure that our clients have a great experience

Recommended Experience & Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, ideally in SaaS or at a tech startup

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve benchmarks

  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Passionate and hardworking with a demonstrated ability to build great relationships

Minimum Education Level

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four year accredited university
