Choosing a content platform? We built something to help you cut through the noise.

Introducing Cohley's platform comparison tool.

Is Cohley about to become a meaningful referral source for companies that we compete with both directly and indirectly?

It’s quite possible, and we are completely fine with that.

We just launched a platform comparison and recommendation tool, and we built it for one simple reason: this space has gotten noisy. A lot of platforms look similar to the naked eye, and that causes evaluation processes to drag on. The decision fatigue sets in…it sucks.

So we decided to do something to help brands and agencies who are in-market for a UGC / Influencer / Reviews / Product Seeding solution. The tool helps brands and agencies figure out who they should actually be talking to — even when that answer isn’t Cohley.

Which raises the obvious question: why would you trust a vendor to be objective about this? Fair question!

The short answer is that the tool is designed to be honest, full stop — even when that honesty sends traffic straight to our competitors’ websites.

If you spend a few minutes with it, you’ll see plenty of cases where Cohley isn’t the recommendation.

Examples include…

  1. If your primary focus is affiliate marketing — links, tracking, payouts — we’re not your platform.
  2. If you need a one-off content project instead of an always-on content engine, there are better tools for that too. We say that plainly.
  3. Your use case is B2B – love the play, Cohley’s just not the right partner for you.

Cohley has never been the right solution for everyone. Pretending otherwise doesn’t help buyers make good decisions, and it doesn’t help Cohley build a durable business. We regularly recommend competitors that we respect — many of them are strong companies doing genuinely good work led by great people. This market isn’t zero-sum.

Our goal isn’t to win every deal. It’s to deliver a best-in-class experience for the right customers — and to be clear when we’re not the right answer.

Our ICP is well defined. We work with established consumer-facing brands and agencies with real scale – teams that have a clear need for always-on content strategies to optimize key moments of their respective consumer journeys.

This tool exists to help buyers cut through the noise. You tell it your goals, constraints, and non-negotiables. It gives you a short list: best fit, strong fits, and alternatives worth exploring — so you can spend your time talking to the right partners from the start.

We’re deep in this space and see the landscape clearly. Instead of keeping that perspective locked inside sales calls and “battle cards”, we decided to make it available to anyone. We hope you get some value out of it.
