Cohley is a content generation and testing platform. It all began in 2015 when Co-founders Tom Logan and Erik Graber were working at a company called Piqora, which was one of the early players in the User Generated Content (UGC) space. They saw the immense upside that UGC could have for brands as marketers moved towards crafting authentic, 1:1 relationships with increasingly discerning consumers. They also saw firsthand that it was the brands that were most effectively incorporating data into content decisions that were creating separation, and they saw an opportunity to provide these data-driven brands with a better way to generate the content that they desperately needed.
Oh, and what’s with the fish references, you might ask? Cohley is an incorrectly spelled spin-off of Coley, a species of fish. Cohley's legal name is Goldfish Social Inc., and yes, we do in fact have a fish tank in the office.
