  1. READ THE CAMPAIGN BRIEF .. THE WHOLE CAMPAIGN BRIEF
  2. I know this may seem like common sense but you’d be surprised to see the amount of people who miss key requirements in a campaign. Reading the campaign brief before you shoot your content will ensure that you don’t miss out on anything important. It also significantly reduces the times you’ll have to reshoot, if you have to reshoot at all. Let’s be honest, we all hate having to reshoot content.
  3. SUBMIT CONTENT WELL BEFORE THE DUE DATE
  4. Brands LOVE to see content coming in early because it allows them to see if you are on the right track. Submitting early will help you get great feedback and put you in a position to meet the campaign timelines without a problem. The last thing you want to be is the one sole creator holding up a campaign *eyeroll*
  5. SUBMIT MORE IMAGES THAN WHAT IS REQUIRED
  6. Let’s face it, you probably took 100+ shots anyway so why not upload a few more for the brand to review! Brands love when you submit more images than what they asked for since it gives them the flexibility to choose which ones they’d like to keep. This will also help avoid having to reshoot… again.
  7. COMMUNICATE WITH THE BRAND
  8. “Hey BRAND, I just got my package and I can’t wait to shoot some awesome content!” Messages like this are a Cohley favorite because it shows that you are on top of the campaign. Brands love when you constantly communicate with them and will appreciate your transparency too.
  9. LEAVE A REVIEW
  10. Saving the best for last! Product feedback is SO VALUABLE and brands are always looking to continue working with creators who go the extra mile. When you leave honest product feedback for a brand, they do a little happy dance that looks like this:
